    I am a Director of IT & Engineering with a 17+ year track record of transforming technical vision into sustainable, high-performing enterprise systems. My leadership is grounded in a philosophy of maximum automation for efficiency, unflinching transparency in communication, and the belief that a positive, psychologically safe culture—often fueled by a well-timed joke—is the ultimate driver of engineering velocity. I specialize in scaling infrastructure, optimizing development workflows, and building diverse, 10x teams.

    The Journey

    I started as a developer who loved automating boring tasks. Twenty scripts later, I realized infrastructure and DevOps were my calling. Fast forward through several startups, enterprise migrations, and countless production incidents (all resolved, thankfully), and here we are.

    These days, I split my time between architecting cloud infrastructure, leading engineering teams, and helping organizations adopt AI without losing their minds. I've learned that scaling systems is actually easier than scaling teams — people don't have APIs (yet).

    My approach is simple: automate everything you can, document what you can't, and remember that the best code is the code you don't have to write. Also, dark mode is objectively superior. Fight me.
